Basketball Recap: La Salette Academy Piles Up the Points Against Attica

La Salette Academy came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed past the Attica Red Ramblers to the tune of 56-28 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

Andrew Sick was the offensive standout of the game as he posted six points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals. Elijah Hall was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 12 points.

La Salette Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They are 12-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Attica's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ronnie Matthews, who had eight points.

La Salette Academy's record is now 18-10. As for Attica, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

La Salette Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-21 win against Georgetown-Ridge Farm on the 24th. As for Attica, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-38 victory against BELIEVE Circle City on the 25th.
