Basketball Recap: United Christian Academy Comes Up Short

United Christian Academy was the 26-20 winner over The Pilgrim Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. United Christian Academy took a 32-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers on Friday.

The Pilgrim Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Brittin out in front who went 6 of 11 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Moriah Parmer, who posted six points and five rebounds.

United Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for The Pilgrim Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. United Christian Academy will square off against King's Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they will face off against Pinelands Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
