Baseball Game Preview: Exeter Tigers vs. Lockwood Tigers

Exeter hasn't had much luck against Lockwood recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Neither Exeter nor Lockwood posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Exeter managed to slip by Diamond the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Exeter came up short against Diamond on Monday, falling 9-1.

Exeter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K Crowe, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Jax Brock also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lockwood's offense. They lost 10-0 to Diamond on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Lockwood dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Exeter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
