Basketball Game Preview: Sussex County Tech vs. Butler Bulldogs

Sussex County Tech hasn't had much luck against Butler recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-20, which was the final score in Sussex County Tech's tilt against Newton on Thursday. Sussex County Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Butler was beaten by Glen Rock 49-19 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Sussex County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Butler, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Sussex County Tech might still be hurting after the 43-21 loss they got from Butler in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Sussex County Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
