Flag Football Recap: Warner Robins Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Warner Robins unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets on Wednesday, falling 36-0.

Even if they lost, Warner Robins' defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kassidy Bradley. Autumn Harden was another major factor on D, making eight total tackles and snagged an interception.

Southeast Bulloch got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Cate Barron out in front who threw for 167 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing. Barron is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season.

The victory (which was Southeast Bulloch's eighth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Warner Robins has already played their next matchup, a 37-0 win against Howard on the 2nd. As for Southeast Bulloch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
