Football Game Preview: Westfield School Hornets vs. Pinewood Christian Patriots + How To Watch

The Westfield School Hornets are taking a road trip to face off against the Pinewood Christian Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Westfield School's defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so Pinewood Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Westfield School took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against First Presbyterian Day by a score of 33-22.

Brock Johnson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 125 yards while completing 76.5% of his passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Cameron Staines was in the mix too, providing Westfield School with one score.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pinewood Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Edmund Burke Academy 13-10. The score was all tied up 3-3 at the break, but the Patriots were the better team in the second half.

Pinewood Christian found their leader in freshman Sam Wasson, who rushed for 89 yards, and also threw for 86 yards and one TD.

Westfield School now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Pinewood Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Westfield School against Pinewood Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-9 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Patriots' Banks Booth, who rushed for 109 yards on only 13 carries, and also threw for 99 yards and one touchdown.
