Soccer Game Preview: Decatur vs. Bridgeport

The Decatur Eagles will head out to take on the Bridgeport Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Decatur is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, Decatur had just enough and edged out Mineral Wells 3-2.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Bridgeport made sure to put some goals up on the board against Graham on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Steers. Considering Bridgeport have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Decatur's record now sits at 8-0-2. As for Bridgeport, their record is now 10-2.

Everything went Decatur's way against Bridgeport when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as Decatur made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
