It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sheridan had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Frankton Eagles 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Eva Todd had a dynamite game, getting 12 digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Todd wasn't the only good servers: Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. The Blackhawks are 13-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win made it two in a row for Sheridan and bumps their season record up to 18-10. As for Frankton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season.

Sheridan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Lapel on the 18th. Frankton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
