Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Monroe back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jefferson Bears lost 48-27 to the Monroe Trojans. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jefferson dropped their record down to 7-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 4-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will welcome Airport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
