Football Recap: Catalyst-Maria Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Catalyst-Maria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Westmont Sentinels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 56-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Catalyst-Maria's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westmont, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Catalyst-Maria wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 25-10 defeat against Gage Park on the 11th. As for Westmont, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fisher at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
