Whipple Posts Huge Game in 32-13 Victory
Tasso Whipple put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 249 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 163 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Gateway's probably not too fond of Whipple given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Whipple saw the Gators), he rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Kiski Area's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Carson Heinle
Carson Heinle helped snap Kiski Area's five-game losing streak. Heinle did his part (and then some), throwing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes, while also rushing for 104 yards on only 14 carries for the 'W'. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Heinle might just drop another big game when he faces off against Armstrong on Friday. Heinle threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the River Hawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

Big Game from Kucic As Kiski Area Won 36-13
Landon Kucic helped snap Kiski Area's five-game losing streak. Greater Latrobe had no answer to Kucic on Friday as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Kucic could be in store for another big game when he takes on Armstrong on Friday. When Kucic last faced the River Hawks back in October of 2023, he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
