Melbourne's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Eau Gallie Commodores 3-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Commodores recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Melbourne's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-14.

Maiya Jackson paced Melbourne's offense, picking up 13 kills. Jackson got some help from Lily Sigety and her 16 assists. Sigety was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Melbourne's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Eau Gallie, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
