Volleyball Recap: Beachwood's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Beachwood entered their tilt with Richmond Heights on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Spartans 3-0. For the Bison, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Beachwood took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Beachwood's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Beachwood will face off against rival Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richmond Heights is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
