Basketball Game Preview: Maury Commodores vs. Western Branch Bruins

The Maury Commodores will face off against the Western Branch Bruins at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Maury beat Kecoughtan 64-60.

Meanwhile, Western Branch was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 66-62 to Quaker Valley. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maury's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Western Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
