It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Diamond Ranch had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the New West Charter Eagles 85-57. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Defeat or not, New West Charter got some senior leadership from Liam Hakimi and Nathan Castellanos. Hakimi went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and three steals, while Castellanos shot 67% from the field to rack up 20 points and three steals. That was a full 38.6% of New West Charter's points, marking the ninth time in a row Hakimi has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yohan Kamgaing, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.

Diamond Ranch's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for New West Charter, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7.

Coming up, Diamond Ranch will challenge Kaiser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kaiser will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Diamond Ranch surely won't give up without a fight. New West Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
