Volleyball Recap: Bangor Has No Trouble Against Necedah

Bangor's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Necedah. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Bangor as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Bangor was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-21.

Kadence Kassera paced Bangor's offense, picking up eight kills. Kassera got some help from Allyson Meacham and her nine assists. September Harris controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Necedah lost, don't look at Player #4. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs.

Bangor's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Necedah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bangor and Necedah will both be playing New Lisbon the next time they take the court. Bangor will host New Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Necedah will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
