Softball Recap: Lynchburg-Clay Comes Up Short

Lynchburg-Clay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies.

Lynchburg-Clay saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Ruble, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lynchburg-Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.

Lynchburg-Clay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Peebles on the 21st. As for Jackson, they have also already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Waverly on the 21st.
