Softball Recap: Silverton Comes Up Short

Silverton lost against West Linn back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Foxes came up short against the Lions, falling 16-1. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silverton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Wurdinger, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Silverton's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for West Linn, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Silverton nor West Linn have any future games scheduled.
