Perrysburg put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Steele Comets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Perrysburg never let Steele on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 28-26.

Zach Gray paced Perrysburg's offense, picking up ten kills. Gray got some help from Jacob Xiao and his 20 assists. Gray was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Steele had strong showings from Prince Tran, who had 15 digs, and Joe Penano, who had seven assists and five digs. David Lewis also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Perrysburg pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Steele, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Perrysburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Springfield on the 17th. As for Steele, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Anthony Wayne on the 17th.
