Preview: Wells Wells CSD vs. Indian Lake Central Indians
The Wells Wells CSD will head out on the road to face off against the Indian Lake Central Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Wells' recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their third straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-36 walloping at the hands of Bolton Central.
Meanwhile, Indian Lake Central was the victim of a tough 49-27 defeat at the hands of Chazy on Friday. While losing is never fun, Indian Lake Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while Chazy is ranked 284th).
Wells' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7. As for Indian Lake Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.
Wells won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Indian Lake Central 28-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wells since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
