Amboy-LaMoille's defense put the team in a good position heading into the break, holding Durand/Pecatonica to a measly six points. That put Amboy-LaMoille at a 12 - 6 advantage. Things continued to go its way in the second half, where the defense allowed a paltry zero points.
Despite Durand/Pecatonica's defeat, the squad still enjoyed a top-notch performance from junior Caden Manning, who ran for 156 yards and also punched in one touchdown.
The loss makes it one more game for Durand/Pecatonica (0-5) without a win. Amboy-LaMoille's victory is its first of the season and lifts it to 1-3.
