Softball Recap: Olivet Comes Up Short

Olivet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Lansing Trojans.

Olivet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Lansing, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olivet will face off against Eaton Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for East Lansing, they will take on DeWitt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
