Volleyball Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short

North Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palma Chieftains. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

North Salinas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Palma, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, North Salinas and Palma will both be playing Hollister the next time they take the court. Palma will head out to face Hollister at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while North Salinas will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
