Basketball Game Preview: Arickaree Bison vs. Fleming Wildcats

Arickaree is 0-5 against Fleming since March of 2016 but things could change on Monday. The Arickaree Bison will square off against the Fleming Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Arickaree is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stratton. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Eagles are ranked 36th).

Meanwhile, Fleming lost to Idalia on the road by a 43-29 margin on Friday. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Arickaree's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Fleming, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

Arickaree came up short against Fleming when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 50-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fleming's Hadley Stull, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.
