Soccer Game Preview: Danvers vs. Beverly

Danvers is 0-9-1 against Beverly since November of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Falcons will host the Panthers at 6:30 p.m.

Danvers is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Swampscott on Friday. The Falcons and the Big Blue finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Saugus kept up with Beverly until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Sachems a 3-0 shutout. Beverly might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Danvers' draw gives them a new season record of 6-3-1. As for Beverly, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Danvers suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Beverly when the teams last played on September 5th. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Falcons were down 4-1.
