Basketball Recap: Eleanor McMain Comes Up Short

Eleanor McMain made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Episcopal, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 54-52 on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eleanor McMain's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Episcopal, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

Coming up, Eleanor McMain will head out on the road to take on Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Episcopal, they will host French Settlement at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
