League recap: Monsignor Pace surges thanks to one league win last week

4A District 14 league recap: 3/8/13

Monsignor Pace racked up the most wins in 4A District 14 this week, totaling one win to lead the league.

Juan Patricio was on fire this week, as he led the league with a .571 average with two RBIs. Jackson went 1-2.

The Generals' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 15 hits and 13 walks to lead the league in both categories.

Jackson stole 25 bases this week, adding to its league-leading 41 steals on the year.

The week's strikeout crown belonged to Juan Nunez, who turned in four Ks for the Generals. He's second in the league with 13 total strikeouts.



The highest batting average in the league this week belonged to Jackson's Patricio, who churned out four hits in seven at bats for a .571 average. His average for the season stands at .500, which ranks first in the league. Patricio has seven hits total this season.
