Softball Recap: PikeView Panthers vs. Montcalm Generals
PikeView entered their tilt with Montcalm on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 12-2 win. The Panthers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 19-0).
Emma Compton was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
