Soccer Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Sharpstown Apollos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Apollos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in January.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sharpstown, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Sterling will square off against Galena Park at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sharpstown, they will take on Milby at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sharpstown will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
