Baseball Recap: Rialto Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

There's no place like home for Rialto, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Kaiser Cats by a score of 5-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Cats on Monday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Rialto saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Morales, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Those three hits gave Morales a new career-high. Aydin Ayala was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Rialto was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kaiser only posted a batting average of .231.

Rialto pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Kaiser, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Rialto will have a chance to go back-to-back against Kaiser: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
