Volleyball Recap: LEE Find Success

While LEE didn't have the best season last year (they finished 16-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Edinburg Bobcats by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Alaina Ruiz paced LEE's offense, picking up nine kills. Ruiz got some help from Chloe Bengoechea and her 20 assists. Finally, Ruiz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

LEE's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Edinburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

LEE didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Harlandale on the 29th. As for Edinburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Somerset on the 29th.
