After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hickory, Bunker Hill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Maiden Blue Devils 7-0. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Bunker Hill this season.

Their offense was hitting Maiden from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Axel Chavez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Bunker Hill is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-9-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Maiden, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
