Baseball Recap: Menasha Takes a Loss

Menasha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Neenah Rockets, falling 13-4. The Bluejays were not able to make up for their loss to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Menasha saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor DeBriyn, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Jake Osentoski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Menasha's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Neenah, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menasha will square off against Shawano Community at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bluejays will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Neenah, they will take on Appleton West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets are facing the Terrors at the right time seeing as the Terrors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
