Soccer Recap: Parkland Comes Up Short

Parkland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Davie War Eagles, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Parkland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 441st, while Davie are ranked 42nd).

Parkland's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Davie, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Parkland is set to take on their familiar foe Mount Tabor at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Davie will challenge rival Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
