Volleyball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Ankeny Hawks.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ankeny, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Carlisle has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Waukee on the 20th. As for Ankeny, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Indianola on the 20th.
