Liberty has gone 7-0 against Minarets recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Liberty Hawks will host the Minarets Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Liberty is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Chowchilla on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tribe.

Liberty's goal came courtesy of Ivan Amezcua, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Minarets was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Caruthers, falling 8-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Mustangs were already down 5-2.

Liberty has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11-3 record this season. As for Minarets, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Liberty took their victory against Minarets when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Liberty repeat their success, or does Minarets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
