Basketball Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ardmore Tigers on Friday.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Ardmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainview will venture away from home to face off against Tuttle at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ardmore, they will head out to square off against Bishop McGuinness at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop McGuinness will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ardmore surely won't give up without a fight.
