Basic faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Longhorns. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won four in a row.

Noah Sebastian tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched.
