Basketball Recap: Isla Hardy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Central over Wilson

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central can now relate to. They took a hard 50-36 fall against the Wilson Warriors on Monday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 47-39.

Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isla Hardy, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. Hardy is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jill Huffaker, who scored seven points along with five boards and three steals.

Central is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15. As for Wilson, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 21-7.

Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilson has also already played their next game, a 55-36 defeat against Deshler on the 4th.
