Volleyball Recap: Newport Comes Up Short

Newport lost against Cascade on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cubs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Cascade, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Newport didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Philomath on the 23rd. As for Cascade, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sweet Home on the 23rd.
