Basketball Game Preview: Peoria Panthers vs. Westview Knights

The Peoria Panthers will face off against the Westview Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Peoria lost 70-49 to Deer Valley on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Westview won against Estrella Foothills on Tuesday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Westview walked away with a 70-62 win over Cactus. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won three matches in a row.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Westview, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
