Soccer Recap: Galway Comes Up Short

Galway managed to slip by Mayfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Eagles lost 3-0 to the Panthers on Tuesday. Galway have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Galway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mayfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Galway will head out on the road to take on Mekeel Christian Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mayfield, they will be playing at home against Waterford-Halfmoon at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
