Softball Recap: Ramona Convent Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

The Ramona Convent Tigers got the win against the Mary Star of the Sea Stars on Thursday by a conclusive 14-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Madison Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Garcia was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Delicia Murillo, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Aiden Velazquez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Ramona Convent always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
