Basketball Game Preview: Mason Bulldogs vs. DeWitt Panthers

Mason hasn't had much luck against DeWitt recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mason Bulldogs will head out to take on the DeWitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Mason's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Monday, Mason beat Marshall 57-50.

Meanwhile, DeWitt ended up a good deal behind Okemos on Thursday and lost 64-45. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

DeWitt's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mason, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mason took their victory against DeWitt when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 70-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mason since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
