Baseball Game Preview: McEwen Warriors vs. McKenzie Rebels

For the second straight game, McEwen will face off against McKenzie. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McEwen has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McEwen is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against McKenzie on Monday. They lost 15-1 to the Rebels. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost six in a row.

McEwen got a good showing from Cayden Wallace, who pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, Wallace didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

The win was the fourth in a row for McKenzie, bringing their record up to 7-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for McEwen, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
