Recap: American Heritage Stallions vs. Treasure Coast Titans

On Monday, American Heritage was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to the Titans. American Heritage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

American Heritage's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skylar Turk, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Presser, who scored 14 points.

Treasure Coast found their leader in underclassman Reniah Flynn, who scored 22 points. It was the first time this season that Flynn scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Isabella Echeverria, who scored eight points.

American Heritage has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Treasure Coast, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.

American Heritage won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Marlee Schwab and Turk. As for Treasure Coast, they will head out on the road to take on the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday.
