It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sundown had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They blew past the Gruver Greyhounds 22-2. The Roughnecks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 22 contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Sundown, bringing their record up to 26-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Gruver, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9-1.

Sundown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greyhounds: the pair will be back at it again later today.
