After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Slippery Rock, Sharpsville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 victory over the Lakeview Sailors. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Sailors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Sharpsville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Lakeview, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Sharpsville will head out to face off against Mercer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview, they will square off against Greenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Sailors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
