Volleyball Game Preview: Julian Eagles vs. Mountain Empire Redhawks

Julian hasn't had much luck against Mountain Empire recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eagles will challenge the Redhawks at 5:00 p.m. Julian is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Julian made easy work of Calexico Mission and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-5, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Mountain Empire posted their closest win since September 6th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past High Tech CV 3-2.

Mountain Empire took High Tech CV into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 12-25, 25-14, 15-8.

Julian now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Mountain Empire, their record is now 16-7.

Julian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mountain Empire when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
