Bellevue Christian is a perfect 9-0 against Vashon Island since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will challenge the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Bellevue Christian will be strutting in after a win while Vashon Island will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Bellevue Christian didn't have too much trouble with Kingston as they won 21-6.

Isaiah Alvis had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 82 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries, and also picked up 74 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Vashon Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 70-3 loss at the hands of Mossyrock. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-3.

Vashon Island's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bellevue Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Bellevue Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 185.7 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Vashon Island, though, as they've been averaging only 15.3 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything came up roses for Bellevue Christian against Vashon Island in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, as the squad secured a 58-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
